Synopsis The ride follows, very closely, the story of the film. The queue area is themed to a bus station with commercials of tourist spots within in the city of Monstropolis. Posters of Harryhausen's, a restaurant from the film, are placed in queue, hinting to a scene within the attraction. Guests board taxis on a journey through the streets of Monstropolis. A small television monitor in each of the three rows of the ride vehicle plays a clip of a tourism video that is interrupted with urgent news that a human named Boo has entered Monstropolis (humans are considered deadly). The taxis exit a tunnel and go down the dark streets of the city, passing Mike and Celia in Mike's new car as Mike wishes her a happy birthday. They then see Randall, who looks around angrily. Following that are news reporters interviewing frightened monsters about what they saw that night. Sulley pops up from an alley holding Boo, looking to see if the coast is clear. The taxis drive into Harryhausen's sushi joint, where frantic monsters run around as Celia screams angrily at Mike and Sulley who are running across the way. The taxis enter the Monsters, Inc. factory and are nearly cleansed by the CDA that fall from nowhere and take pictures. A few workers walk by and the taxis enter the boys' locker room where Mike seems scared and worried again while Sulley waits for Boo to use the restroom. Randall appears then disappears in a nearby corner. In the giant room with all the hanging doors hanging ...

Roz wished me a Happy Birthday when she noticed my birthday ears. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her. I told her that I've turned 21 years old.

no they arent..the rides that have restrictions will tell you so, and its only for "flash photography" thats all

One of the best dark rides Disney has built in decades and seems like one of the longest (though it seemed a lot like the E.T. ride at Universal). The sets were great but they could have used more music. The rides in Fantasyland have more songs, not just background music. Sure beats the Hollywood ride they had here before.

I love this ride, it really fels like your in the movie. The only thing that bugs me (and great video btw) is Sullivan's hair in the door room (2:19). It looks a little mullet-i hto me, unlike the rest of the Sullys. but if that's all I have to worry about in life.......
